The game of Pontoon – 3 Hand can be played for free and is thus a good time for players to improve their skills and develop an effective Pontoon strategy before they bet real money. Real money bets are made using coins of different values varying from $0.01 to $100.

In the three hand version of the game, the player plays using three hands, with each hand playing directly against the dealer. In order to start the game, the player must first place the bet on each of the three hands. These bets may be of completely different values.

The player must make a total of 21 or lower. The aim of the game is to reach a total that is higher than that of the dealer, however if the player’s total is over 21, the player loses. Each of the three players starts the game with two cards facing up while the dealer is dealt two cards, facing down. The player then decides whether to take a hit or to stand. Once all three players stand, the card totals are compared.
